libdvdcss


I need libdvdcss, where can I get it? I have posted threads before but never resolved. Is there a debian file?

Actually, I spoke out of turn. I'm not sure which repo it's at, but libdvdcss2 is what you're looking for.

Seek and you shall find: http://www.debian-unofficial.org/packages.html

I don't use Debian myself but it certainly seems to be exactly what you're looking for

wget http://download.videolan.org/pub/lib...-1.2.9.tar.bz2
tar -jxvf libdvdcss-1.2.9.tar.bz2
cd libdvdcss-1.2.9
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
sudo make install

The videolan debian page has info on how to install VLC on Debian.
