Lexmark X1155 Drivers

Hi I'm tony

I have been using fedora core 2 for a while now and things have been working well but i just got a Lexmark x1155 3 in 1 and Lexmark does not have drivers for Linux. Does any one know how or where i can get a driver? or does anyone have the time to explain how to make a driver? I have limited experience so it may take a while.

Thanks for everything

Tony

Re; Drivers for Lexmark

I would imagine the x1155 is very similar to the discontinued x1150, which I have successfully installed on linux. The x1150 printer will work using the driver for the z605. I have never been able to get the scanner working though.

The driver is for redhat, so it takes some tweaking to get working on other distros, but since you're running fedora it should work out of the box.
