ldconfig problem

Hi guys!

I installer xine-libs recently and ever since then any time I do ldconfig it says:

/sbin/ldconfig: Input file /usr/local/lib/libxine.so.1.8.1 not found.

When I go to that directory it lists the file as being there .. I dont understand whats wrong here? Has anyone had that problem or know a fix for that?

Did you put libxine.so.1.8.1 in your /etc/ld.so.conf ?

If so it's not supposed to be there. ldconfig looks at directories. In the file you only put /usr/local/lib

Yes this is my ld.so.conf :
include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf
/usr/lib/mysql
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib
/usr/local/lib
/usr/local/bin
/usr/bin

I havent included any files in that unless its looking somewhere else and then again the file shows up in that directory!?
