LDAP groups?

I am running a OpenLDAP server and this is working fine, the users can login on all machines without the need for creating local accounts. Now i want to add the users to groups in LDAP, so i will be able to add a user to "cdrom" in LDAP and the user now have the same permissions as if i have added him manually to cdrom:x:24: in /etc/group on all the machines.

I have created the OU groups with the following syntax:

Code:
dn: ou=groups,dc=example,dc=com
objectclass:organizationalunit
ou: groups
But how do i create ex. cdrom under the groups OU and add users to cdrom?
