ldap connection problem
 

Ive been having trouble accessing my openexchange server on the network Im getting the prompt

Software error:
Connection to LDAP Server failed! at /srv/www/start/index.pl line 45.

Ive been trawling the net and found a thread where a chap had the same problem A solution was posted recommending that the guy deleted a log file located in /var/lib/ldap I did this and rebooted and still got the same message

I checked the file and a new one had been created

I then tried the following:

rcldap status stop
db_recover -h /var/lib/ldap
rcldap start

rebooted

and now im getting

ldap search failed! at /srv/www/start/index.pl line 58.

I also checked the status of the ldap server

rcldap status

and got

unused

Im so confused! Trying to dig up help aswell is proving a nightmare!
