using dvdshrink on windows I made a bcakup copy of a dvd, in the form of an iso image.

If I burn that ISO it then plays on vlc on my linux systems (ubuntu or mepis).
but I can't play the iso image directly, which I am able to do in windows.
the vlc player screen stays black. here is a console output :
