Unhappy Latex question


hi,

i want to type a character(leftrignt arrow) overline a symbol, how can i do it? thanks

I think that

\stackrel{\textstyle\leftrightarrow}{A}
should do the trick...

trying to make vector?

If you are trying to make a vector by placing the arrow above the A, couldn't you just use \vec{A} ? I guess you didn't like the fact that the bottom of the overhead arrow is lost when using vec as opposed to a full arrow?

Oh, I get it now, <->, as in a matrix sort of thing?
