Question LateX in FC5 distrobution

Hi all.

I'm having a bit of a mare trying to get latex running in FC5.

When I used to run FC3 I could just use "latex file.tex" to compile a LateX file. Now that I'm using core5 (I reinstalled, didn't upgrade) that doesn't work!

I can't find the program to download anywhere - tetex seams to be the most readily available software but the installation fails because of missing files (presumably because I don't have latex).

Does anyone know where I can download latex and is it straight forward to install or do I need to do something special?

Hope you can help!
