Latest wine version kicks ass!

Hi everyone..

Well, every month, I look forward to a new version of wine....and believe me, this newest wine makes all of us one step closer to use windows applications without a fuss. Like they claim, the wine people have really made a lot of bug fixes..That is quite evident that there are fewer error messages....

Plus - I got 3 apps working nicely with this latest wine version

1. Typing Master 2002 ( I couldn't believe my eyes, when the typing test screen came in front of me...no errors guys! )

2. Jet Audio 4.81 ( Played Audio fine with the reverb, wide and 3d effects + all eq presets sounding cool, although it refused to play .dat file on my vcd)

3. Winamp 2.79 (although I know that winamp works with previous versions too)

I hope there will be many more apps working better with this version of wine....Just felt like sharing my experience with everyone at LQ.

Regards,

amit

Call me when it can run iTunes.

I've got a bunch of free songs from pepsi caps sitting here.... and that's the ONE app I still need to regularly boot into windows for.
