Latest version of Acrobat Reader?

When I try to open the document http://www.tfl.gov.uk/common/downloa...es-revised.pdf with Acrobat Reader 5.08 for Linux, I get a message stating that the document contains information newer thanm the reader version, and recomending that I upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat Reader from adobe.com.

When I checked the web site in question, it appears that version 5.08 for Linux IS the latest version! Why am I being asked to do the impossible?!

Maybe the document itself is only compatible with version 6.0 or later which is the latest Windows version.. have you possibly tried an alternative to open the pdf, like with xpdf?
