Talking Latest Stable Kernel


Does anyone know what the latest stable kernel version is?

anything above 2.5.2 ?

Im slowly coming to the conclusion of my slow hard drive!

erm...2.5.2 is NOT stable. nothing in the 2.5 branch is, it is a developemnt branch, and will NEVER be declared stable. stick to 2.4.x kernel.org, not exactly hard to find out... it even tells you on this sites homepage (if i remember right)

2.4.19 is the latest stable kernel. www.kernel.org explains i believe the releases of the kernel.
