Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Not sure what i did, but the font size in both mozilla firebird and konqueror are extremly large. now in mozilla i can click on the ctrl and - and the screen will go to a normal size but some page objects that where already normal size are now too small to see. This only happens on a cirtain websites. Konqueror on the other hand has no quick way to decrease font size and manually doing it doesnt always work, it also seems to do the large font thing on all pages as for mozilla only some pages do it and even then only some parts of the page are oversized. Last thing i remember messing with was trying to get my screen resolution above 1024 so i was in the XF86Config file but again this is only in webpages and it doesnt matter if im root or a user same thing happens. im really looking for what mozilla and konqueror share in the way of font directories and if they share some common CSS somewhere - ive also gone ahead and reset all font CSS and web settings on the KDE control panel also in konqueror and mozilla. Im running RH9
heres some screenshots
ok on some whim i figured out my own problem needed to remove what i put in the display properties DPI to 0 i had tryed to previously tryed to set the DPI when messing with the video card
hope this can help some one else out some day
