Language Training software for Linux?


howdy LQ'ers,

would anyone happen to know of any language training software taht would run on linux? something like rosetta stone, but i use the army website, and if im away with no internet, ild like to still be able to study some languages. if anyone knows of any programs like that, please shoot me a line. thanks.

I'd guess, you will have to buy some cdrom's , DVD's .

But take care, they may all be for windoze only.

Asking for all languages ? ...

just certain languages, like spanish, german, arabic, and korean. ill take a look at those sites.

Haven't found a decent Linux application similar to the things available under Windows yet.

There are not even decent vocabulary lists available Open Source.

Anyway - there's always the possibility to install vmware or something similar, stuff a Windows in it and have your language course.
