kylix registration
 

im trying to register kylix (v.3 open edition). I assume you go to a website get a licence file and put that in the kylix directory. Thats all great but i cant find where to register it. This may just be me but borland.com is down, and without that how can i register it?does anyone have another site to register it from, or something?

Did you try /bin/registerkylix ?

When I installed Kylix they sent me an email that I had to turn into a text file and put in my home directory, but it looks like they have changed things with round 3. You could try:

looks like there is a section there to download keys.

I have Kylix 3 Professional, which I bought directly from Borland as an upgrade from Kylix 1. The disk on which I installed it crashed and I can't find the installation-registration key. I e-mailed Borland, and they sent me the text file for registering the open edition. Problem is that Professional edition requires a key of 16 characters or so. I don't even remember how the two releases of Kylix were shipped--I find no cardboard sleeves like those in which all my 5 Delphi releases were shipped. If I knew what to look for I might be able to find it. I haven't even moved since buying K3 (but I did redo the floor in this room and had to move everything around).
