Kylix 3 Code Completion error

Im running Gentoo 2005.1 with kernel 2.6.10

I jsut installed Kylix 3.
When i run 'startdelphi' the IDE comes up fine and if I press the green run triangle, I get the basic form that the IDE starts with to compile and run, so everything is running fine.
However when i add a memo and a button, I double klick the button, and begin to type

Code:
Memo1.
I get an error . . .

Code:
unable to invoke code completion due to errors in the source code.
Thier are no errors, im just etting started!
Any suggestions?
