KWord's Frame Border 'cuts' off text in a particular MS-Word document

KWord 1.6.3 using KDE 3.5.9 on Slackware 12.1

I tried to open an MS-Word document (.doc). For some of the pages, the Frame Border cuts through the text in the document (even through the alpahbets). Changing the margin only changes the alignment of the pages - it doesn't show me my cut text. A funny thing that happens when I click the 'spoiled' page is that the document automatically jumps of its own accord to some other page. I've tried opening other documents but they work well.

KWord is probably not very good with tricky .doc files.

Please try with Textmaker free 2006 :
http://dir.filewatcher.com/d/SuSE/1/...m.9487135.html

ftp://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/linux/suse/sus...25-10.i586.rpm

It is fast and small ( The executable 'tml' is 9 MB.)
And the best with .doc files.
... No dependencies.
The .rpm can be converted with 'rpm2tgz',
or installed with # rpm -Uvh --nodeps <package>
.....

I used OpenOffice to open the file. It works perfectly. Thank you very much for your help!
