Kwin vs Compiz and CPU usage

Hello, I'm comparing KWin versus Compiz on KDE 4 and I am noticing that feature for feature, KWin consumes far more CPU cycles than Compiz. Far more, like %CPU 75.0 for KWin versus %CPU 1.30 for Compiz.

Is this normal? Thanks!

Hey... does anyone use Kwin here? I'm sure CPU usage this high isn't normal...
