How do I uninstall Kubuntu distro and grub boot manager from a duel boot system with Windows ME

I think you'll need to re-install the bootloader using one of the rescue options on your win ME install CD (that will remove grub and allow the machine to boot straight back into windows); then you'll probably want to remove the kubuntu partitions and resize your windows partition again, using something like partition magic i guess.

boot to your windows install cd, at prompt run

fdisk /mbr

-or-

fixmbr

not sure wich one will work with ME.

That will remove boot loader and now you will boot straight to windows again. From windows you will have to delete your linux partitions, create new, and format with correct file system.

If your boot cd lets you run fdisk, you can do your partitioning from there too.
