ksysv crashes

RedHat 7.2 - up2date with all patches

Tried:

rpm -e kdeadmin
rpm -i kdeadmin-2.2.2-3.i386.rpm

No joy. Crashes every time with the following trace:

Anyone have any ideas? Call me lazy/a heretic but I'd like to
use the GUI and not hack around in init.d everytime I'm testing
something.
