Angry Korganizer Problems

Im having an issue with Korganizer, when creating a new event the default time for the event is always 15 minutes, even when I change the default time in prefrences it will not take it, is this an error with the program and if so is there any work around for it? Im getting sick of constantly resizing the boxes every time I type in a new event.

Thanks
