I asked yesterday about web-cam, yahoo and so. Someone recommended getting Kopete. I did. But I don't get any incoming signal from a certain young lady. If I click invite to view web cam, it says can't find jasper. jasper is in /usr/lib. There are some things in /usr/include and /usr/include jasper
Not knowing what it wants, I modified $PATH to include all three. Echo $PATH gives me the correct PATH, so now I don't know.
Kopete says' I can't find jasper image convert program
jasper is required to convert yahoo webcam images'

Any tips out there?

Also, does your webcam work with any other software? Have you installed the driver?

What kind of webcam do you have?
