Theres two things you could easily be talking about, either email or calendar.
If its email you need a IMAP account, or you need one of your machines to act as an mail-server to download the emails and the have both kmails use it as an IMAP server.
Calendaring, you need one of the machines to act as your main groupware server, have a look at
Kolab.
