Konsole on the desktop

Hello, I swear ive seen it before, but I cant find anything like it now. I want to put a console (bash prompt?) on my desktop and make it transparent. That way, I can just go to the desktop and untar programs and such. Kinda like the xmms GUI's that sit in the corner and blend in.

Is this making sense? Anyone know of something like it? Im using Mandrake 10, I think its KDE 3.2.

Just go to Settings / Schema, and pick the "Transparent..." that you like.

Thats better, but I was hoping for a kind of boarderless app. Kind of like this xmms one: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=9885

But thanks, I will play with those settings in case I cant find what Im looking for.

Accually, I kinda figured it out. I was able to remove the top border, and if I move the console over to the side of the screen, it hides the side scroll bar.

Heres a screen shot....I kinda like it. Of course, other options are allways appreciated.

OK, another question came up. Can I change the text color of the console? I have a grey back ground, and grey text. I cant find an option for that. Thanks
