konsole keyboard shortcuts

I set up some keyboard shortcuts, clicked ok, and I only get a system beep when I attempt to use them. How do I make them work? Saving settings and reloading "saves the shorcuts" but they still don't actually work. I'm using konsole 1.2 on kde 3.1.0. Thanks.

have you looked at any of the pre-installed shortcuts that are in it? you can make your konsole act like it's in vim mode if you want. the standard is to be in emacs. take a look at the emacs shortcut keys to see what it can do.

to make your saved options work, i'm not sure. i haven't played with it enough to say, but i know that with what i gives me i'm very happy. take a look, they may be what your looking for all ready.

cheers.
