konquerror error: you have linked konq to inode/directory ...

Hi!

Everytime I open Konqueror I receive the following message:

Es gibt anscheinend eine Fehleinstellung. Sie haben Konqueror mit inode/directory verknüpft, aber das Programm kann diesen Dateityp nicht verarbeiten.

Translated:

Threre is a wrong setting. You have linked Konquerer with inode/directory, but the program can not process this filetype.

Then Konqueror opens, but I can only see directories on the left side, the right side where usually all the fills are displeyed stays blank.

I have RedHat 9 and use KDE 3.1.10

I hope anyone can help me to fix this.

Thank you

Cool

Hi!

No, I did not get any replys.
I could fix the problem by opening another user and just using the new user. At least I did not have to reinstall RedHat.

Hope that helps.

I had already erased and recreated the same user and the problem started again after a month. Currently I am using the super user konquerror and it works fine, but I must always enter the su password....

Hello,
I caused this problem by enabling "Ansicht - Ansicht einfrieren". Removing the cross there solved the problem.
Hope its helps.
