Konqueror says Directory not there on bootup
 

I keep getting this error whenever I log in to my user account:

"The file or folder /home/[username-edited-out]/work/color-schemes does not exist."

This comes up after logging in and the system tray items are loaded. Checked all the rc and config files (even hidden ones) in my #HOME dir and couldn't find any reference to this directory.

Is there a way to stop this from happening? I don't want/need the directory to be there so I would like it to log in and not need that directory.

Anyone know a fix?

I've narrowed it down to a file in $HOME/[username]/.kde/share/config/session/konqueror_[somenumbers]_[more numbers]_[more numbers]

In it it has a line as so:

View2_URL=file:$HOME/work/color-schemes

Now, if I manually delete that and then re-login or even reboot, the same thing gets put back in the file.

I'm assuming this is where KDE stores the info to load each session. Problem is, I don't know where it's getting this from to replace it if I delete it from the file. I've pretty much checked everywhere I could think of. KDE's find files tool seems broken (always crashes on me and never finds anything) and Grep also just keeps running and running and running... if I grep 'color-schemes' /* and it will never finish (at least, I don't feel like waiting the amount of time it's taking).

I still have no idea how to get this fixed. Anyone have any ideas?

I got it fixed (that was fast :)

I was chatting with some folks in IRC about it and was led to opening Control Center, KDE Components, Session manager and click to start with a blank session. Then logged out, then back in. No error message! So I had to restart a couple system tray icons (like the mixer, post-it notes, etc.) and then back in KDE Components I selected to restore a manually saved session. After being sure everything I don't want open was closed, I went into the KMenu and saw the "Save Session" option and clicked on that. Logged out and back in, and everything is fine. No error messages!

So if anyone else gets in this pickle, that's how I got it solved, thanks to folks in IRC, of course... :)
