Konqueror Key Bindings

I have kind of an odd problem in Konqueror, and if there's no fix I can live with it, but I'd rather not. I set the key bindings for "Move files" and "Copy files" to F7 and F8 respectively. This is the reverse of the defaults for those keys/functions. The problem is that they revert to the defaults the next time I open the program. I've done several searches, browsed several files/folders, read a few threads in these forums, but I can't seem to find any way to make my preferences take precedence over the defaults. Is there a way to do that, or do I need to adapt?
