Konqueror FTP views

A few months ago i could use konqueror to browse ftp just like a local filesystem. i could upload and move files easily.

it seems now that konqueror has lost this functionality, as now when i view ftp archives the appear as they do in mozilla.

Is there any way i could set konq to the old way?

Thanks
