Konqueror creating running jobs, what are these?

I have the default Konqueror 4.4.5 with KDE 4.4.5 from Debian 6.

When I log into Hotmail from Konqueror, some KDE notifications appear, saying "6 running jobs", then there is a long wait bar, showing some JavaScript files and longs waits of more than 1 hour. When this appears, Konqueror appears unusable, until I click the stop button in the notification area. What are these for? Is this a bug? What to do?

From "man ps":

ps -ejH
ps axjf

Try this and verify that the jobs are truly spawned by Konqueror (or possibly by what else in truth).
