I just noticed that when I try to goto a page on hacking for example the Konqueror browser gives me an "Access Denied" message.
Reason: found in denied list (crime)
Where is this filter or list so I can turn it off or configure it? I can't seem to find it.

I'm not a hacker or anything. I just like to study internet security and this is a pain. I tried it on Mozilla and was able to get on all the pages.

www.Urlabs.com seems to be the culprit. Symantec company?

Does anyone have more info on this. I'll check back after work.

By the way I'm running a new install of Mandrake 9.1 if that helps. Maybe its something in the install that I need to remove.

Are you doing this from home or from a University or office? Could you give examples of sites that bounce you? It seems as though there is a program similar to Websense running.

I could also not find anything in Konqueror to say what's happening.

Hello just got in from work or I would have answered sooner.
I'm working from home with a brand new Mandrake 9.1 install from the Power Pack that they sell. I'm a newbie so I'm just getting use to it, but like it better than Micro$oft already.
I've only noticed it on some hacker sites, but to test it out I check out a porn site with the same results. Access denied "sex/acts". I don't mind the porn filter, but I'm just courious what else will be blocked.
I didn't mention it earlier but there is a logo on the 'Acess Denied " page It says

Also the title bar on top of the page says
I-gear: Acess Denied - Konqueror

This is weird. I check out the Konqueror configuration, and couldnt find any filter program??? This only happens when I run Konqueror. Not any other browser.

I'll check back later. Ill also look for the program you talked about.

You don't have to send money, all the afferos I have received so far were positive comments.

The fact that you are working from may mean that there is no server side webfiltering (unless your ISP is quite harsh!). It may be that Mandrake have built something into their PowerPack distro. I have used download versions of Mandrake and never encountered this - although I tend to use Mozilla rather than Konqueror as my browser.
