Kodak usb please?!?!

I hold here in my hands a Kodak Easyshare Cx7430. I stare blankly at my linux makdrake 9.0 machine. How does one access the jpg's from the camera through USB on Linux mandrake 9.0? The CD it came with is only intended for use with windows and MAC OS 10.2.3 or higher. I tryed to see if I could install anything anyway off it, and it didn't work. So i figured there must still be a way to get the images??!!!

it doesn't show up in my /mnt directory. All that is, is my "cdrom" and "disk". So it says the special mount dosen't exist.

that special device dosen't exist either. I have a usb directory in /dev, but it's empty, and the camera is on and ready to share.

Plug the camera in, then run "dmesg", and post the results here. That should help you figure out what your camera's device name will be, and then someone will be able to tell you how to mount it.
