Knoppix Gaim Help

Okay,

Im running Knoppix off of a CD, and everything was fine and dandy until last night, gaim stopped connecting properly, and I Deleted the encoding part and it worked fine.

I start it up today, get the usual not working when I first start it up, so I delete the encoding part, but this time this didnt work.

Im a complete Noobie when it comes to knoppix/linux, and I cant do shit with windows.

Any Ideas on how to try and fix this

Oh and Firefox doesnt work either.

Never mind, it was a problem with the port number.

Fixed it, this can now be closed.
