Knetworkmanager


Hello All

I am running FC5 and Gnome as my Desktop Enviroment, i have recently installed knetworkmanager, how do i get it to start automatically at start up.

Uhm.... On my laptop I run KDE and KNetworkManager starts automatically on KDE startup.

But KNetworkManager is a native KDE program. Try to install network-manager-gnome (at least that's what it's called in debian/ubuntu), it is in general the same thing, just for Gnome. I'm sure that is going to solve most of the problems.

I am not familiar with FC though. But I think gnome network manager is included in an rpm called gnome-network or something. To add it to the panel, right click on panel, and choose "Add To Panel", then find "Network Manager" in the list which appears and click "Add". This should do the trick
