kmplayer and konqueror

My woes with installing kmplayer are over (I hope).
I installed version 0.7.4c, and that installed fine.
No rpms would work, and no later versions.

However, Now I have kmplayer in /usr/local/kde/bin

and mplayer in /usr/local/bin, what next?

In the README it says if it is set up right it can embed in konqueror
but it doesn't say how to do this.

So my dumb questions are
how do I add mplayer to the start applications, and
how do I embed kmplayer in konqueror?

Kmplayer, as in the closed-source app?

Check this out: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=462894

The folks who make kmplayer are allegedly violating the GPL.

kmplayer

I had a look at that. This seems to be something different
to the one at www.kmplayer.kde.org, which is open source.
