Kmail - Signature position

I have just got Kmail at work and I have a business signature that I use. I have it automaticly attached, but it attaches itself below the 'reply text' when I need it above. I have asked around and no one here knows. I have looked around the actual program itself but cannot find anywhere where I can choose that option.

Any suggestions?

Miss Kitty, I also had a problem with Kmail, though it was easy to use, there were some glitches for me on Mandrake 9.
You have not stated which o.s. you are using but if it has Mozilla included, give that a try.
It is easy to use and needs no tweeking which for a newbie, is why I get on well with it.
Goog Luck.
Steve.

This has been on the bug/feature list for many years. It appears that "we" do not have a choice in the matter.

I think you're saying that you want to reply to an email, with your cursor at top, your signature underneath it, then the message body of the email you are replying to? Kind of like how MS Outlook does?

Well, I prefer the MS Outlook style to FWIW.

Here's what I did.

I have NO signature in my "idendity"

I simply went to setting in kmail.

Then I click on "composer"

Then I clicked on "phrases" tab.

Then in the line that says "Reply to sender" I deleted what they had in their and I put in th e following:

Quote:
%L%LWith kindest regards,%LOld Fogie%L--%LOn %D, %F wrote:%L
I also put that same line for where it says "Reply to all"

Then I clicked on "apply" then "ok"

Hope this helps.

If you're annoyed by the lack of this option as much as I am, i recommend you voice your opinion on the kde bugzilla (linked above). The only way to get this fixed is to go straight to the source...
