Kmail only load spam and trash folder

I installed kmail and used the setting as given in the wiki. BUt i am not getting inbox emails at all.I can only see the trash and spam emails. I deleted theprevious accounts and configured new accounts .Still getting the same thing.
How can i enable inbox emails?

you need to configure Kmail to an existing account. see: http://support.real-time.com/linux/e...ent/kmail.html or http://www.gn.apc.org/support/setting-kmail or http://www-uxsup.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/d...0/ch15s03.html. Look at the part "receiving" You need to collect some info about your current mailbox. Probably we can help more if you can say which mailbox do you want to read?

i want to configure gmail. I want to see inbox folder.All the links given above are based on previous version of kmail.i am using latest kmail 4.8.4
