Kmail and auto complete of email address in the TO field
 

Hi

Hoping someone can tell me how do I remove old email entries from the auto complete feature - you see when I try and enter an email address in the TO field, it will bring up a number of choises that start with that particular letter eg r then it will bring up rod@so and so, but rod has changed email address and it still brings up the old email address in the auto completion choice field as well as the new one.

Open your kmailrc in a text editor. should be in your $HOME/.kde folder. Remember it's hidden.

~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc

Check under:

[General]
Recent
Addresses=

It may list the files your wanting to delete there. Remember to restart Kmail after.
