klaptop/acpi problem

Hi, I have a small problem with my klaptop (running Debian on Toshiba Satellite notebook). It does not want to show the battery status. While I was running the 2.6.0 kernel, everything was working fine, but now I am trying 2.6.2 and 2.6.3 and both of them do not want to run it correctly. I have this error in my dmesg and in the virtual console(nonX); it is still repeating:
ACPI-0279: *** Error: Looking up [PBST] in namespace, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS
ACPI-1120: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPC0.BAT1._BST] (Node c15dc480), AE_ALREADY_EXISTS

The funniest thing is, that it workes sometimes under the 2.6.3 kernel, but after some time, it just stops running. Under 2.6.2 it does not run at all.
Thanks a lot for your help
