Exclamation Kismet on Suse 9.2 Pro

though i am a n00b at linux, i know some. the first thing i did after i extraced the tar.gz of kismet, i type './configure' and it goes like it should, then it says:

Code:
checking fore capable lex... insufficient
configure: error: our operating system's lex is insufficient to compile
libpcap. flex is a lex replacement that has many advantages, including
being able to compile libpcap. For more information, see
gnu.org/software/flex/flex.html .
configure: error: /bin/sh ' ./configure' failed for libpcap-0.8.3
i just dont know what is going on and i have tried to install flex, but i get an error on that too. when i try to './configure' flex, it works. then when i type 'make' it compiles a couple things then has an error:

Code:
yacc -d ./parse.y
make: yacc: Command not found
make: *** [parse.c] Error 127
I tried to download yacc, but i have had no luck at all. I could really use some help. Thanks all.

damn kismet!
