kile and latex

I have installed kile on my machine from a rpm file. all the pretty "formula" bottom are not there? I have installed tetex from scratch before I installed kile, my latex command are under /usr/local/teTeX/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu/, is there way i can configure my kile so all these "pretty bottons" show again?
