I use linux on my notebook. My touchpad has two buttons - left and right. In order to emulate the middle mouse button i should to press both buttons simultaneously.
Is it a way to emulate this with any keyboard shortcut? Shift+Ins and Ctrl+V work not always, i wish to emulate exactly the "paste with middle mouse button" X feature
Yes there is Sorry I don't remember the name, but in short, the solution is a program you run in background and grabs some pre-defined keys, then execute what you want (some action, or key-event, or mouse-event).
In fact, there are several such programs available. Do some google.
Thanks. I use currently the program named hotkeys. It let me to bind the actions such a "start mozilla" to the additional keys on my laptop (sound control etc.). The problem is that i don't know how to execute the desired action "emulate middle mouse button click".
