keyboard map

Hey, i just installed Slackware 10 and i noticed the keyboard is the wrong layout! it should be "uk" not "us", can anybody please help me change it to a uk keymap please, thankyou

If you are running XFree86
there is a file

that explained how to use /etc/X11/XF86Config

to choose the keymap or keymaps you like

I'm sure something similar exists in
