keyboard macro

I'm looking for a macro app that will allow me to type macros to a chat room. I've had to use windows to host pool tournaments in yahoo's java based pool game. I'd prefer to host from right here on my slack box. I've tried many windows key macros through WINE with no luck. I've searched and searched for an rpm or source, again with no luck. Anyone know of projects for this or a way to get emacs to macro into another application?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sam

I'm afraid that due to the differences in
"clipboard-handling" in X, Gnome and
KDE there's no application that will do
what you need ... one way to deal with
it would be to use emacs as your browser
for that yahoo-group, if that's too ugly
or impossible due to Java or whatever
it takes for the chat-room, use emacs,
do your macro, and then copy & paste
using triple-left-clicking and middle-
clicking.

Maybe if you give us a more detailed
description of the environment, and how
that chat-room works, we can come up
with other ideas?

Cheers,
Tink
