Keyboard Layout

Hello
Im having some trouble with keyboard layout. Made a knoppix HD installation
and now i cant figure out how to change my keyboard layout (its in german layout now).
I know how to do this in KDE, but how do i do it in tty, without no X server running?
Do i have to edit any file or just a simple command will do?

Tanx and sorry about the n00bish.

Try 'loadkeys azerty'

I always need it to load the Dvorak layout . . .
