keyboard hangs in opera 7.11
 

hi folks,

i got a pretty annoying problem with opera 7 as well as with mozilla. everytime i use opera, the keyboard hangs at some point, i don't even get a cursor when i click into some field, inlcuding the opera adress field. it just doens't take any input until i use the mouse to switch desktop. this happens randmly and without me doing anything special.
i use debian woody, kernel 2.4.18-586tsc and fluxbox 0.1.7-3 on a sony vaio pcg-505 fx.

any sugestions?
