Angry kernel panic error while updating BIOS and Firmware

Hi,
I have IBM x225 server with ServRAID 5i card and is configured RAID 5 with 5 HDDs. We updated the BIOS and Firmware for both System and RAID card.

After we rebooted the machine it is giving following error.

Warning: Adaptor 0 firmware compatible in SB610, but it should be SA510.
Warning: Adaptor 0 compatible version is SB610, but it should be SA510.
SCSI 0: IBM PCI ServRAID 5.10.21

Vendor: IBM Model: 02R09809 S320 Rev:1
Type: Processor ANSI SCSI Rev: 02
Attached SCSI disk sda at scsi0 : Channel 0,id0,lun0
SCSI device sda: 28485280 512-byte hda2 sector5.
Partition check:
sda:id0|sda2 <sda5 sda6 sda7 sda8 sda9)
unable to read superblock
mount: error 22 mounting ext 2
pivot root: pivot root (/sysroot; /sysroot/initrd) failed : 2
unmount /initrd/proc : failed : 2
Freeing unused kernel memory : 240 K
Kernel Panic: No init found. Try passing init = option to kernel.

We reinstalled the machine with driver disk but gives same error. We have another IBM machine ( not same model). Created boot disk and was able to boot normally and working fine. But when I am booting from HDD it is not working. I will be very grateful if you can help me out on this.
Cheers,
Chams

the new bios isn't for your configuration / the new bios enables some feature in your raid sub and the linux kernel can't handle it this way.
which software have you reinstalled??

be sure the sa610 is known by the kernel. maybe (unlikely) you will have to reinitialize the raidarray some way, as there may be a different layout.
read the changelog from the bios release.

sl, mritch.
