h8dk97 LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2004 Posts: 10 Rep:	Kernel panic after installing new kernel Hi there, I'm using Mandrake 10.0. After I compiled a new kernel the system will not b oot. The error message is something like: mount: error 6 mounting ext3 I did compile ext3 into kernel (not as module). The new kernel seems to "thi nk" of my SATA disks as SCSI. Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.
