Kernel installation

After i did rpm update on my kernel, i lost my other cpus (now its down to 1 instead of showing 4) and ram went to 900 megs.. isntead of 3 gigs it has.

HOw can i fix this? please help

well check out the change log on the new kernel (maybe you have installed old kernel)
And if you don't see much problems working with deafult kernel, I suggest you to go back to old kernel. Or you can recompile kernel.
