kernel compile warnings

what exactly does :

kernel/intermodule.c:179: warning: `inter_module_register' is deprecated (declared at kernel/intermodule.c:38)

mean?

You most likely compiled in support that is now deprecated, but can most likely be used.. its just not being developed anymore or they have better options to use for support.
