I am trying to compile a 2.4.24 kernel with the sym53c8xx SCSI driver. I am have tried compiling it as a module and built in. With both I am getting the error of module not found on the make install step. Any ideas?
In the make install step I am getting the following errors.
warning: kernel is too big for standalone boot from floppy

+ '[' -x /root/bin/installkernel ']'
